2022 Reading Recap

These are the most impactful books I read in 2022.

An Everlasting Meal: Cooking with Economy and Grace

Tamar Adler

Walking was especially fruitful while on lockdown this Spring. This is a habit I hope to continue for decades. This book directly inspired my article - On Walking - Stepping to mind, body, and soul improvement.

A Place of My Own

Michael Pollan

The most useful and interesting parts of 4 biographies jammed into one incredibly written book. I collected my notes and all the leadership lessons from the book here.

Certain to Win

Chet Richards

I'm glad I didn't read this 15 years earlier in Highschool. I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much or appreciated the complicated balance of good and evil in all of us.

A Man For All Markets

Ed Thorp

Missing travel, seeing new places, working with my hands, etc. in 2020 - this one was a therapeutic read for me.

English Pastoral

James Rebanks

A beautifully written book covering life, work, and personal fulfillment. More to come from me as a dig myself out from the deep well of notes and thoughts I gathered while reading.
